These General Terms and Conditions apply to all organizational, coordination and support services provided by:
Korkut HealthBridge Network
operating under HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK
Hauptstrasse 16
8215 Hallau
Switzerland
UID: CHE-140.575.626
E-mail: info@healthbridge-network.ch
Website: www.healthbridge-network.ch
Hereinafter referred to as “HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK” or “HEALTHBRIDGE.”
These General Terms and Conditions apply to customers who engage HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK for organizational coordination and support services in connection with planned medical treatment, particularly at a partner hospital in Istanbul.
In the event of any discrepancy, individual written agreements, quotations or contracts shall take precedence over these General Terms and Conditions.
2. ROLE OF HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK is not a hospital, clinic, medical practice or medical service provider.
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK does not provide medical examinations, diagnoses, consultations, treatments or surgical procedures.
The role of HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK is limited exclusively to the organizational coordination and personal support of the customer in connection with the planned stay and treatment in Istanbul.
Medical responsibility lies exclusively with the treating hospital and the physicians and healthcare professionals working there.
3. PARTNER HOSPITALS
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK cooperates with selected hospitals in Istanbul.
These currently include, in particular:
-
Memorial
-
Liv Topkapı
-
The respective hospital is a legally and economically independent medical service provider.
The contract for medical examination and treatment is concluded directly between the customer and the respective hospital.
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK is not a party to the medical treatment contract.
4. SERVICES PROVIDED BY HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK
The specific scope of services is determined by the respective quotation, service confirmation or individually concluded contract.
The HEALTHBRIDGE service may, in particular, include:
-
organizational coordination with the selected hospital
-
support with appointment and process planning
-
coordination of organizational information prior to the stay
-
support with the organization of transfers and accommodation
-
communication support between the customer and the parties involved
-
a dedicated HEALTHBRIDGE contact person
-
personal organizational support in Istanbul
-
organizational support during the stay
-
organizational support after the return journey, insofar as this falls within the scope of HEALTHBRIDGE services
-
additional services or benefits expressly agreed in the respective quotation
Medical services are expressly not part of the HEALTHBRIDGE service.
5. CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT
The presentation of services and prices on the website is generally intended for information and guidance purposes only.
A binding contract for HEALTHBRIDGE services is concluded when:
-
the customer receives an individual quotation, service confirmation or corresponding contract from HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK,
-
the customer accepts it, and
-
the agreed HEALTHBRIDGE service fee is paid or another express payment arrangement has been made.
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK confirms the order and/or receipt of payment to the customer.
The General Terms and Conditions applicable to the respective contract shall be made available to the customer prior to conclusion of the contract.
6. HEALTHBRIDGE SERVICE FEE
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK charges a separate service fee for its organizational coordination and support services.
The amount of the service fee depends on:
-
the selected treatment
-
the partner hospital
-
the target country or market
-
the agreed scope of services
-
the individual quotation
The applicable HEALTHBRIDGE service fee is communicated transparently to the customer before conclusion of the contract.
For customers from Switzerland, prices are generally stated in Swiss francs (CHF).
For customers from Germany and Austria, prices are generally stated in euros (EUR).
The price stated in the individual HEALTHBRIDGE quotation or order confirmation shall be decisive.
7. PAYMENT OF THE HEALTHBRIDGE SERVICE FEE
The HEALTHBRIDGE service fee is paid exclusively to HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK.
Payment may, in particular, be made via a Worldline payment link provided by HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK.
Only services provided by HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK are charged via Worldline.
The customer’s payment method will be charged once the respective payment has been successfully processed.
The payment methods actually available during the payment process will be displayed to the customer at checkout.
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK issues a separate invoice or payment confirmation for its own services.
8. MEDICAL COSTS AND HOSPITAL INVOICE
The costs of medical examinations, consultations, treatments and surgical procedures are not included in the HEALTHBRIDGE service fee.
Medical services are invoiced exclusively by the respective hospital.
The customer receives the medical invoice directly from the hospital and pays the medical costs directly to the hospital.
As a general rule, HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK does not accept payments for medical services in its own name.
9. HOSPITAL PRICES AND PRICE INFORMATION
Hospital prices and total prices stated on the website are provided for guidance purposes only.
The final medical price is confirmed exclusively by the respective hospital after reviewing the individual case.
Hospital prices may change, in particular, due to:
-
exchange-rate fluctuations
-
changes in hospital pricing
-
the individual scope of treatment
-
additional medically necessary services
-
medical examinations or findings
-
changes to the treatment plan
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK has no influence over medically justified price changes made by the hospital.
Before treatment, the customer will receive the applicable medical price or corresponding quotation from the hospital.
10. HEALTHBRIDGE FLIGHT-COST BENEFIT
Where stated in the respective quotation or on the pricing page, the HEALTHBRIDGE service fee may include a HEALTHBRIDGE flight-cost benefit.
For the offers currently displayed, this benefit amounts to CHF 200 or EUR 200.
If the flight-cost benefit is stated as “already included,” it is already included in the published or agreed HEALTHBRIDGE service fee.
In such cases, there is no additional entitlement to a cash payment of the flight-cost benefit.
11. ADDITIONAL HEALTHBRIDGE BENEFIT AT MEMORIAL
For certain HEALTHBRIDGE offers involving treatment at Memorial, an additional HEALTHBRIDGE benefit of CHF 200 or EUR 200 may be granted.
Where expressly confirmed in the individual quotation, this benefit is taken into account on the hospital invoice or within the hospital portion of the price.
The additional benefit is not paid out to the customer in cash.
As a general rule, the condition for this benefit is that the agreed treatment at Memorial is carried out within the scope of the corresponding HEALTHBRIDGE order.
12. ADDITIONAL BENEFITS AND SERVICES
Additional benefits, such as hospitality services or contributions toward additional accommodation costs for an accompanying person, apply only if they have been confirmed in the respective quotation, in the service description valid at the time the contract is concluded, or in writing by HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK.
If a maximum amount is specified, any entitlement shall be limited to that maximum amount.
Unused benefits are not automatically paid out in cash or offset against other services unless expressly agreed otherwise.
13. HOTEL AND ACCOMMODATION
Hotel and accommodation costs are not automatically included in the HEALTHBRIDGE service fee or in medical treatment costs unless expressly stated otherwise.
As a general rule, the customer may pay for accommodation separately.
Where possible, HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK may provide organizational assistance in selecting and coordinating accommodation.
At the customer’s request, accommodation may, for certain partner hospitals, be arranged or invoiced through the hospital.
For this purpose, complete flight details and/or the customer’s flight ticket may be required.
Where hotel or accommodation services are provided by a hospital, hotel or other third-party provider, that third party is responsible for its own services.
14. TRANSFERS
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK may assist the customer with the organization and coordination of transfers.
Where transfers are provided by the hospital or an external transfer provider, the service is performed by that third party.
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK is not a transportation company.
Specific free or discounted transfer services apply only where confirmed in the individual quotation or by the respective partner hospital.
15. FLIGHTS AND TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Flights are generally booked and paid for by the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The customer is responsible for:
-
holding a valid passport and/or other required identification documents
-
visas and entry requirements
-
arriving on time
-
compliance with entry, exit and customs regulations
-
obtaining any necessary travel or international health insurance
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK is not liable for refused entry, flight cancellations, flight delays or other services provided by airlines or authorities, unless HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK itself has culpably caused the relevant event.
16. MEDICAL DECISIONS AND ELIGIBILITY
Whether a medical treatment can be carried out and which treatment is medically appropriate is determined exclusively by the respective hospital and/or treating physician.
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK does not provide medical guarantees or recommendations.
Following medical assessment, the hospital may modify, postpone or decline a planned treatment.
In such cases, HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK will, where possible, assist the customer with further organizational coordination.
17. CUSTOMER’S DUTY TO COOPERATE
The customer undertakes to provide all information required for organization and treatment completely and truthfully.
This includes, in particular, where requested by the hospital:
-
relevant pre-existing conditions
-
ongoing treatments
-
medications
-
allergies
-
previous surgical procedures
-
medical reports or findings
-
photographs or documents
-
complete contact and travel information
Where necessary and legally permissible under applicable data-protection law, medical information will be transmitted to the medical service providers responsible for the medical assessment.
Details regarding the processing of personal data are set out in the separate Privacy Policy.
18. NO GUARANTEE OF MEDICAL RESULTS
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK does not guarantee:
-
the medical outcome
-
the healing process
-
aesthetic results
-
consequences of surgery
-
medical complications
-
the duration of recovery
-
decisions made by a physician or hospital
Questions, complaints or claims relating to medical treatment must generally be addressed directly to the respective hospital or treating medical service provider.
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK may assist the customer with organizational communication.
19. CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER
This provision applies without prejudice to any mandatory statutory rights of withdrawal.
HEALTHBRIDGE services generally begin before the customer travels, for example through hospital communication, case intake, appointment planning and organizational preparation.
In the event of cancellation by the customer, the following refund conditions generally apply to the HEALTHBRIDGE service fee:
-
a) Cancellation more than 30 calendar days before the scheduled treatment date: 75% of the HEALTHBRIDGE service fee will be refunded.
-
b) Cancellation 15 to 30 calendar days before the scheduled treatment date: 50% of the HEALTHBRIDGE service fee will be refunded.
-
c) Cancellation 8 to 14 calendar days before the scheduled treatment date: 25% of the HEALTHBRIDGE service fee will be refunded.
-
d) Cancellation 7 calendar days or less before the scheduled treatment date, failure to appear, or termination after personal support in Istanbul has begun: the HEALTHBRIDGE service fee will generally not be refunded.
Non-refundable costs already incurred with third-party providers may additionally be deducted from any refund, insofar as such costs are attributable to the customer and are transparently documented.
The customer retains the right to prove that HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK incurred no expenditure or loss, or substantially lower expenditure or loss.
Mandatory statutory rights of the customer remain unaffected.
20. CANCELLATION BEFORE A TREATMENT DATE HAS BEEN SET
If no specific treatment date has yet been agreed but HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK has already been instructed to begin organizational work, any refund will depend on the extent of the services already provided.
At a minimum, the portion of the HEALTHBRIDGE service that has not yet been provided will be refunded, unless mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise.
21. CANCELLATION FOR MEDICAL REASONS
If the partner hospital completely declines the treatment for medical reasons before the customer travels, HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK will first seek an organizationally appropriate solution, such as an additional medical assessment or, at the customer’s request, alternative coordination.
If no treatment takes place and the customer therefore terminates the HEALTHBRIDGE order, the portion of the HEALTHBRIDGE service fee corresponding to services not yet provided will be refunded.
Organizational services already actually provided may be taken into reasonable account.
This does not apply where the refusal is based on the customer intentionally or through gross negligence concealing or incorrectly providing material medical or other information.
22. CANCELLATION BY HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK
If HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK is unable to provide its agreed services for reasons for which HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK is responsible, the portion of the HEALTHBRIDGE service fee corresponding to services not yet provided will be refunded.
Services already properly provided remain payable.
Any further mandatory statutory claims remain unaffected.
23. CHANGES OR CANCELLATION BY THE HOSPITAL
Changes to or cancellations of medical appointments by the hospital are generally outside the responsibility of HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK.
In such cases, HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK will seek to find an organizational solution as quickly as possible.
This may include, in particular:
-
postponing the appointment
-
arranging an alternative appointment
-
adjusting organizational arrangements
-
where appropriate and with the customer’s consent, coordinating with another suitable partner hospital
If the HEALTHBRIDGE service can no longer be fully provided due to a final cancellation, the portion of the HEALTHBRIDGE service fee corresponding to services not yet provided will be taken into account and/or refunded.
24. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL FOR CONSUMERS IN GERMANY AND AUSTRIA
Where mandatory European Union, German or Austrian consumer-protection rules apply to the respective contract, a consumer who concludes a service contract at a distance generally has the statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the date the contract is concluded.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, a clear declaration must be sent to:
Korkut HealthBridge Network
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK
Hauptstrasse 16
8215 Hallau
Switzerland
E-mail: info@healthbridge-network.ch
The declaration must clearly indicate that the customer wishes to withdraw from the contract.
25. COMMENCEMENT OF SERVICES DURING THE WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
If a consumer from Germany or Austria wishes HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK to begin providing services before the 14-day statutory withdrawal period has expired, the customer must expressly request this.
If the customer subsequently withdraws within the statutory withdrawal period, HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK may charge an appropriate amount for the services actually provided up to the time of withdrawal, insofar as permitted by law.
The right of withdrawal expires once the service has been fully performed, provided that the customer previously expressly agreed to the early commencement of the service and confirmed that they were aware that their right of withdrawal would expire once the contract had been fully performed.
Mandatory national consumer-protection provisions remain unaffected.
26. MODEL WITHDRAWAL DECLARATION
If you wish to withdraw from the contract, you may, for example, use the following declaration:
To:
Korkut HealthBridge Network
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK
Hauptstrasse 16
8215 Hallau
Switzerland
E-mail: info@healthbridge-network.ch
I hereby withdraw from the contract I concluded for HEALTHBRIDGE organizational and support services.

27. SWISS CUSTOMERS AND WITHDRAWAL
For contracts with customers resident in Switzerland that are concluded online in the ordinary course, there is generally no statutory general 14-day right of withdrawal.
The cancellation and refund conditions contained in these General Terms and Conditions remain applicable.
Mandatory special statutory provisions remain reserved.
28. REFUNDS
Where a customer is entitled to a refund, the refund will generally be made using the payment method originally used, where technically possible.
Processing will be initiated without undue delay once the entitlement to a refund has been established.
The actual credit may require additional processing time depending on the payment provider, card-issuing bank or payment method used.
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK does not charge an additional refund fee for a legally justified refund.
29. FORCE MAJEURE AND EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK is not liable for delays or the temporary inability to provide services resulting from events outside the reasonable control of HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK.
Such events may include, in particular:
-
natural disasters
-
epidemics or pandemics
-
war or major security incidents
-
governmental measures
-
border closures
-
strikes
-
major disruptions to air travel
-
major technical failures
-
other cases of force majeure
In such cases, HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK will primarily seek to arrange a postponement or an alternative organizational solution.
If HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK’s own service can permanently no longer be provided, the portion of the service fee corresponding to services not yet provided will be refunded unless mandatory statutory provisions require another solution.
30. LIABILITY OF HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK
Within the limits of mandatory statutory provisions, HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK is liable for damage caused by a culpable breach of its own contractual organizational or support obligations.
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK is not liable for medical services, medical decisions or treatment outcomes, as such services are not provided by HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK.
Likewise, HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK is generally not liable for breaches of duty by independent third-party providers such as:
-
hospitals
-
physicians
-
hotels
-
airlines
-
transfer companies
-
insurance providers
-
authorities
-
other external service providers
unless HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK itself culpably caused the relevant damage.
Mandatory statutory liability provisions remain fully unaffected.
31. THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS
Where services are provided by hospitals, hotels, transfer companies, airlines or other third-party providers, the contractual terms and conditions of the respective third-party provider may additionally apply to those services.
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK provides organizational support to the customer but does not thereby automatically become the provider of the respective third-party service.
Mandatory statutory provisions, including any applicable travel-law or consumer-protection provisions, remain unaffected.
32. COMPLAINTS AND CONTACT
For questions or complaints relating to HEALTHBRIDGE services, the customer may contact HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK:
E-mail: info@healthbridge-network.ch
Switzerland: +41 76 618 50 22
WhatsApp / International Support: +41 76 501 50 22
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK will seek to resolve the matter promptly and appropriately.
33. DATA PROTECTION
The processing of personal data and, where applicable, health-related data is governed by the current Privacy Policy of HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK.
The Privacy Policy is a separate document and is available on the HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK website.
34. APPLICABLE LAW
The contractual relationship with HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK is generally governed by Swiss law.
For consumers whose habitual residence is outside Switzerland, particularly in Germany or Austria, mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country of their habitual residence remain unaffected to the extent that they are legally applicable.
35. JURISDICTION
For business customers and where legally permissible, the place of jurisdiction is Schaffhausen, Switzerland.
For consumers, mandatory statutory jurisdiction rules apply.
In particular, this clause does not deprive consumers of any mandatory right to bring claims before the consumer court provided for by law.
36. AMENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK may amend these General Terms and Conditions for future contracts.
For contracts already concluded, the version of the General Terms and Conditions agreed at the time the contract was concluded shall generally apply unless another arrangement is validly agreed with the customer.
37. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
If any provision of these General Terms and Conditions is wholly or partially invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
Mandatory statutory provisions shall apply in place of the invalid provision.
38. FINAL PROVISIONS
These General Terms and Conditions govern exclusively the contractual relationship between the customer and HEALTHBRIDGE NETWORK regarding organizational coordination and support services.
They do not govern the medical treatment contract between the customer and the respective hospital.
